This course will provide an overview of the various forms of sound including musical instruments like Tibetan singing bowls, steel drums, chimes and the traditional harmonium as well as Om chanting, musical playlists and mantras, and how to weave these elements into your yoga practice. This course will provide an overview of pain and the nervous system, informed by the evidence from current pain science research. Students will explore the relevant anatomy and common causes of pain and dysfunction, followed by application of mindful movements, trigger-points release & resistance-band work to facilitate recovery.
