Continuing Education Training (CET) Modules
This course will provide an overview of pain and the nervous system, informed by the evidence from current pain science research. Students will explore the relevant anatomy and common causes of pain and dysfunction, followed by application of mindful movements, trigger-points release & resistance-band work to facilitate recovery. Learn and apply the concepts of Qi, the five elements (Water, Fire, Earth, Wood and Metal) and their corresponding Meridian lines according to Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Daoist (Yin/Yang) philosophy in Yin Yoga. Led by Lead Trainer Wendy Chan.

Our specialized Prenatal and Postnatal Yoga module is meticulously crafted to equip yoga teachers with the requisite expertise to guide expectant mothers through a safe and tailored practice before and after childbirth. Led by Lead Trainer Wendy Chan and Senior O&G nurse Josphyne Koh.
In this module, we explore the principles behind effective Vinyasa sequences that help students unlock their potential when it comes to challenging postures. Ignite your creativity as you explore different pathways and methods to sequence your Vinyasa class. Led by Teacher Trainers and Vinyasa Flow enthusiasts Joanne Ang & Meiyan Cheong.
This course will provide an overview of the various forms of sound including musical instruments like Tibetan singing bowls, steel drums, chimes and the traditional harmonium as well as Om chanting, musical playlists and mantras, and how to weave these elements into your yoga practice. The first 15 hours of this module are open to all who resonate with a sound-centric yoga practice and are keen on understanding the basics of sound and yoga. No musical background is necessary. Led by Teacher Trainer Meiyan Cheong.
